IMPORTANT UPDATE: NO DOGS ON THE BEACH UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

After extensive community discussion regarding the recent pilot program allowing dogs on the beach, City Council has decided not to move forward with the second reading at this time. Council has requested that the Sustainability Board and Recreation Board hold a joint special meeting to explore a balanced approach that considers environmental concerns, recreation, and community feedback.  That meeting has been scheduled for July 14 at 6:00 p.m.  The agenda and additional documents will be posted on the City Meetings Calendar and Agendas page.
