Jackson Avenue Project Update

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Jackson Avenue will be temporarily closed from South Patrick Drive to Sunset Street for approximately four weeks as part of ongoing infrastructure improvement projects.

⚠️ Traffic Changes:

• No left turn from southbound South Patrick Drive onto Jackson Avenue
• Northbound right-turn lane onto Jackson Avenue will also be closed

✅ Access to the following locations will remain available via South Patrick Drive:

• DRS Community Center
• U.S. Post Office
• Dill Dinkers
• CubeSmart
• Curri Properties

Businesses on the south side of Jackson Avenue will remain OPEN during construction. Customers and visitors will be directed to park in the DRS parking lot and use a designated pedestrian walkway for safe access.

City staff and contractors will continue working closely with impacted businesses to minimize disruptions and complete the project as quickly as possible.
