Street Resurfacing Project Update

Street Resurfacing Project

On January 7, 2026, City Council approved the next phase of road resurfacing, which includes curb replacements in select areas as well. This work will take place throughout the City and will affect the 27 roads (listed below).

Beginning February 25 until approximately March 6, 2026, paving will take place on the following roads:
• Winchester Drive - From Kale Street to 470 Winchester Drive
• Carriage Road - From Kale Street to Winchester Drive

During this period, residents are asked to keep vehicles from being parked on the roadway and keep sprinkler systems turned off during daytime hours until paving is completed. Homes should be accessible during the milling process, and only brief delays are anticipated.

Prior to paving, a “tacking” procedure that helps the new asphalt properly bond to the existing surface is applied. Residents are strongly encouraged NOT to drive on the roadway after the tack has been applied unless absolutely necessary, as it can be easily tracked onto vehicles by tire spray. Once paving is finished, however, the roadway is typically drivable within one hour.

Below are the 27 roads that will be included in this project. This is not the order in which work will be completed, so please monitor this Facebook page for future updates on locations and time frames.
